Club Náutico
(Boat Club)

You can do many different types of water sports. Located on Avenida Otamendi and Cervantes. Hours are from 8:30am to 9pm.

Paseo de la Bahía
(Boardwalk on the Bay)

This is a great place to enjoy the scenery and the cuisine offerings along the Río de la Plata. You can also visit the Pejerrey Club, which has the longest dock in South America. It is located on Cervantes and Dr. I. Iriarte (formerly España).

Rambla

A walk through the rambla on the banks of the widest river in the world, where you can marvel at the sunset, is an invitation to dream. There is a large boulevard with restaurants offering traditional foods. Located on Avenida Otamend and Cervantes.

Laté-25

Quilmes has and preserves the only remaining model of the airplane Laté-25, which Antoine de Saint Exupéry, author of “The Little Prince” opened up Patagonia. It is on exhibit at Årea Material Quilmes, at Avenida Otamendi and 1st Tte. Brussa. Hours: Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5pm.

Parque de la Cerveceria Quilmes
(Quilmes Beer Park)

A unique place, where you can enjoy the best recently poured beer or spend an unforgettable night at a restaurant in the open air. Great cuisine. Open everyday from 8am until late. Located on Avenida Triunvirato and Andrés Baranda.

Parque de la Ciudad
(City Park)

A green space for the entire family to enjoy. It has 1700 trees of different species and an amphitheatre that can hold 3000 people, with weekly and gratuitous shows put on by the municipality. Located on Avenida Vicente López and Smith.

Biblioteca Pública Municipal “Domingo Faustino Sarmiento”
(Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Municipal Public Library)

This library was officially opened on December 8th, 1872, and since 1935 has been in this location in the heart of the historic district. The library offers free services Monday-Friday from 7am to 7:45pm. Located at the corner of Alem and Mitre. Tel: 4253-0156.

Reinaldo Gorno Sport Center

You can practice all types of physical activities here: jogging, athletics, volleyball, handball, basketball, soccer. The use of the facilities and entrance is free. Located on Vicente López and Lafinur streets, West Quilmes. Tel: 4278-2621.

Estadio Centenario

The stadium belongs to the Quilmes Athletic Club soccer club. It is currently one of the best stadiums in the country. Located on Av. Vicente López and Smith.
